4. The Zigzag
We have all seen this magic trick on TV where the magician’s assistant is cut into several parts. The magician’s assistant is obviously not cut out in this round.
But unlike the move seen previously, where two assistants are necessary to carry out the deception, the Zigzag only appeals to one person, preferably flexible. She hides and contorts in the box which is much deeper and wider than it appears to be. The assistant then just has to position herself as best as possible to leave room for the illusion while the parts of the box are moved.
