Giving birth to a child is one of the most difficult and happiest times in life. This is true for both humans and the animal world. Babies are adorable regardless of their shape and size. The only difference between humans and animals is that baby animals are capable of more things and are independent since birth. Land animals, such as zebras or giraffes, can stand upright within minutes of emerging from their mother’s womb. Marine animals, such as turtles and fish, can swim and find their way immediately after hatching.
But baby animals are known for being clumsy and insecure. It takes time to perfect the art of walking, swimming and running. Although they learn how to do this almost instantly, they are unaware of the dangers that can lie ahead. A baby zebra must have learned this the hard way.
